Porto Giunco

Porto Giunco ​​beach is located along the south-eastern coast of Sardinia about forty-five kilo meters from Cagliari, at the foot of a promontory on which stands a seventeenth-century Spanish tower called Porto Giunco. The beach is characterized by a very fine sand that has shades of pink given by the erosion of the debris of granite rocks that surround it. The sea is clear and crystalline and has shades of color ranging from pale blue to emerald green, the shallow and sandy seabed is ideal for families with children. This fantastic beach is surrounded by high dunes that are home to fragrant junipers, mastic trees and Mediterranean scrub. It is very popular with surfers and snorkelers.
