Cala Caprarese

Cala Caprarese or Caprese, is located in the beautiful setting of the island of Caprera, in the north-western area, within the Maddalena Archipelago. It is a coastal stretch divided into three small beaches surrounded by Mediterranean scrub shrubs and granite rocks characterized by fine and clear sand and outcropping rocks, especially towards the shore, bathed by an iridescent sea from emerald green to blue with shades of indigo, crystalline and limpid, with a sloping seabed towards the open sea. Cala Caprarese is one of the wildest beaches on the island and for this reason it is not very popular even in high season, being reachable only by sea or by tackling a steep path of medium difficulty.
