Cala Cipolla

The Cala Cipolla beach is located in southern Sardinia, in the locality of Domus de Maria, about fifty kilo meters from Cagliari city. It is a wonderful wide beach bordered by two granite promontories, which enclose it at the ends, forming a splendid natural swimming pool. The sand is white and soft and forms dunes behind it that welcome the shrub vegetation typical of the place. The sea is crystal clear and turquoise, so transparent that it reveals the shallow and sandy seabed for several meters from the shore. Well protected from the winds, it is very popular with diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. It is suitable for children and the elderly.
